Wood Stove Allnighters
Kup Manduka, the frog of the well
was a long time I wanted to illustrate this ancient Indian history, a story that always made me think.
If you do not know, I will tell. Kup
Manduka, the frog of the well.
There was once a frog who lived in a well. Manduka
Kup had always lived there.
was born in that well and had grown into an adult frog every day to clean up the water from worms and insects that were there. Living in this way had become nice and fat and shiny.
One day, a turtle came by and fell into the well.
"Where are you from?". "From the ocean." "From the ocean? and what? "Kup asked Manduka.
"A great place, great!" said the newcomer.
"Big what?"
"Very, very big." Kup
Manduka drew a small circle with his paw on the water surface:
"Great way?"
"No. Much bigger." Kup
Manduka drew a larger circle.
"Great way?"
"No. Bigger." Kup
Manduka then made a circle around the pit as big as that was the world she knew.
"So?"
"No. Much, much bigger," said the turtle came from the ocean.
"No - he thought the frog who lived in the well - nothing can be bigger than my well!"

These days I painted the hearts of others, experiencing various designs, but ultimately, my favorite, despite the meticulous (and complexity) of running, is the tree of life, so I painted different, try the version with the negative colors exchanged.
Another design that I liked because it is symbolic and very elegant Celtic knot.
These hearts are for sale in my Etsy shop have a long silver chain and those with key lock are combined with open-heart. Hello

Ho avuto la fortuna di trovare dei bellissimi cuori di pietra.
Ho chiesto all'amico Claudio (Blog : Si può fare) di forarli e mettere un gancino per trasformarli in ciondoli ed eccoli qui, semplici e splendidi cuori di sasso.
Sono stata a lungo indecisa se dipingerli o no, perchè sono perfetti al naturale, la pietra ha venature e trasparenze, i colori vanno dal panna al perla, fino al grigio scuro.
Poi, pensando a San Valentino, ho preso i pennelli ed ho osato colorarne qualcuno di rosso fiammante, ho immaginato il cuore like in a box, who kept our feelings and I designed a lock. The chest is opened only with the right key.

The tree is divided into three branches that correspond to the three-way that every human being has before: Love (right), the Force (left), and Compassion (center). Only the middle way, also called the "royal way", holds the ability to unify opposites.
branches left and right are also the two basic polarity of all reality: the masculine and feminine right to left, man and woman in this case represented by two peacocks.
Hearts are very light and after various tests I've seen that they are best worn with long chains instead of necklaces.
